Wilbury Grange (Hove) Ltd – the freehold company

In January 2006, the leaseholders formed a self-governing company, Wilbury Grange (Hove) Limited, and acquired the freehold. Lessees are entitled to one share per flat. Shares must be relinquished in favour of the new owner when a flat is sold. Lessees may obtain a copy of the company’s Memorandum and Articles of Association from a Director.

The Board of Directors is elected each year by shareholders at the Annual General Meeting which is normally convened in November of each year.

Wilbury Grange (Hove) Ltd – The Board of Directors

The Directors are all flat owners who live in Wilbury Grange. The Directors meet regularly to review the management of the building. They carry out the work of the Board on a voluntary basis and, together with Jacksons Properties, the managing agent, they are always happy to help with any problems that require assistance and to make life at Wilbury Grange more congenial.

Since then a lot of time, money and effort has been put into the refurbishment of Wilbury Grange. In recognition of this fact, the Board of Directors asks all residents to help us with caring for the appearance of the building, both inside and out.

Jacksons Properties – our managing agent

The Board of Directors has appointed Jacksons Properties as the managing agent for the day to day running of the building. Jacksons has the responsibility to ensure that the common parts of the building are clean and well maintained. Internal repairs to the flats are the responsibility of the particular leaseholder or the tenants.
