Parking
Our courtyard is an attractive feature and the original plans for the building show that, along with the forecourt and the service road at the front, the courtyard was not intended to be a place to park cars. It was always meant to be a drive through, allowing residents to be dropped off or picked up.
The following rules apply:
It is not permissible to clean your car in the courtyard.
Between 11.00 p.m. until 7.00 a.m.
Parking is not permitted. Owners of vehicles parked during these hours will be fined, according to the notices displayed in the courtyard and at the front of the building.
Private cars: between 7.00 a.m. until 11.00 p.m.
Private cars may be parked within Wilbury Grange for up to 2 hours, once only on any day.
Parking within Wilbury Grange does rely on the cooperation and consideration of all our neighbours. Failure to comply will result in a parking penalty notice.
Commercial vehicles: between 7.00 a.m. until 11.00 p.m.
ALL commercial vehicles (unless exempt – see below) will be prohibited from parking within Wilbury Grange unless they have been issued with an electronic parking permit by Jacksons, the managing agent. The permit will be paperless and will be in the form of an electronic authorisation sent by the managing agent to the parking enforcement company. These permits will only be issued to contractors employed by residents in order to drop off any tools and materials. Vehicles must not park for the duration of the work.
There is no cost to flat owners in obtaining a permit and it will allow owners (and their contractors) to specify the date and they need to drop off tools and materials.
Permits can be arranged by phoning the managing agents on 01273 328 556.
Electronic permits will only be available Monday – Friday between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm
To obtain a permit provide Jacksons with:
- The date
- The hours required
- The name of the contractor
- The vehicle registration number
Any commercial vehicles parking without an electronic permit will be subject to a parking notice as per the parking signs displayed within the grounds.
Exempt vehicles include removal vans, one-off deliveries, taxis or ambulances collecting passengers and contractors working at Wilbury Grange, such as Servcom Services UK and Ascent Lift Services Ltd. If residents are moving in or out of Wilbury Grange, it is advisable to notify the managing agents to avoid any potential access problems.
