Radiators
Flat owners are responsible for the maintenance, repair and replacement of radiators and valves in their own flat. Please be advised that if flat owners have thermostat values installed on radiators the proper working of the thermostats may be affected by heat from the pipes circulating hot water to each flat.
If works are to be carried out to the communal heating or communal hot and cold water supplies approval must be obtained beforehand via the managing agent. If a drain down of any of the services is required specifically to facilitate proposed works you will need to meet the costs of the drain down and the subsequent refilling including any repeat attendances for the purpose of clearing airlocks etc.
Unless for emergency repairs the heating system will not be drained down during the winter months whilst the heating is on.
After a drain down, your radiators will require bleeding. Please contact Jacksons if you need help with bleeding your radiators.
