Windows
Under the terms of Wilbury Grange leases (The First Schedule, Part 1 (i)), flat owners are responsible for the upkeep of the windows in their flat.
If windows need to be replaced they do not need a formal Licence Agreement but the managing agent must be notified in advance.
If scaffolding is to be erected it must be the subject of a Scaffolding Licence.
Replacement windows should be in a style approved by the Board and you should submit drawings accordingly. The windows should be in keeping with the other windows in the block and you must use a FENSA registered double glazing company. Apart from those in the Mansard flats, all windows and balcony doors must have Georgian bars
As we are in a Conservation Area so flat owners wishing to replace windows must check if planning permission from the local planning authority is required.
Please contact the managing agent for more details.
